Drop-in groups
Our Drop-In groups provide a safe, friendly and stimulating place for children under 5 and their parents or carers. They are opportunities for your child to play, learn and sing in planned sessions. As a parent you’ll benefit from the support of our team and other parents and the friendly social atmosphere. You’ll be able to support your child, watch them play and share your thoughts with others. In our regular workshops you have a chance to talk about your child’s behaviour, sleep pattern, play and learning. It’s a chance to get to understand how your child learns and notice patterns of behaviour.
We invite parents to join us on weekly outings all year round.
How can we get involved?
Just turn up at one of the sessions – you don’t need to book in advance. You can come at any time in the session and stay as long as you like but please be aware that the group are busy and get full quickly . We just ask you to sign a register when you arrive and when you leave the sessions. For new families, please complete our registration form.
Who is there to support me?
Our trained staff are here every day. They have a variety of qualifications and other visiting staff include a health visitor, dentist, speech and language therapist, career adviser, librarians, musicians, CAMHS therapist and counsellor.
