SEND statement
At PECC our vision for children with SEND is the same as our vision for all children. We believe that we make a difference by providing a safe and stimulating environment with loving and playful staff which supports our children and their families to feel happy sand secure. We want every child to be engaged actively in their learning and are therefore able to reach their full potential in all areas of home life and school life knowing that they are cared for and supported throughout.
We welcome all children whatever the differences in their abilities or behaviours and believe that every child is unique. We will work with children parents and outside agencies to ensure each child’s SEND are understood and the correct provision is provided to support each child’s learning and development.
What is the Local Offer?
The Children and families Bill Act 2014 requires Local Authorities (LA) and schools to publish and keep under review information about services they expect to be available for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) aged 0-25. This is the ‘SEN Information Report’.
The purpose of the Local Offer is to enable parents and young people to find out more easily the services that are available in their area and how to access them. The Local Offer will include provision from birth to 25, across education, health, social care and the voluntary sector.
The LA Local Offer
For Children and Young People between 0-25 Years with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Westminster City LA have put together information to help you find out about all the services that exist in your area. This is the LA SEN Information Report. Please click this link SEND Local Offer
